Additional Info
Terroir Area Information: Terroir: Shimonogo, Fujieda city, Shizuoka prefecture. Plant Information: Cultivar: Fuji-kaori, a cross of Inzatsu 131 and Yabukita registered in 1996, selected by the researchers Morizono Ichiji and Koyanagi Mitsugi in Koyanagi's own tea garden. Cultivation Information: Tea farm: the Koyanagi tea garden; this tea is made by Tsutomu, Koyanagi's son. Additional Information: Vendor rating: Umami ★☆☆☆ / Astringency ★☆☆☆ / Body ★★☆☆ / Firing ★★★☆. Vendor tasting note: Jasmine. Declarations of Inferences and Presumptions: Note: the pack's own label places this tea in the Hanashi district of Fujieda and calls it kamairi-sei tamaryokucha (kamairi-made tamaryokucha), where the product page says Shimonogo and "Kama-iri cha". Both are the shop's own words about the same lot — the picking date matches — so both are recorded rather than one being chosen.
